Africa-Press – Rwanda. Coach Innocent Seninga has returned to Etincelles FC after agreeing to coach the club for yet another season.
Seninga, whose contract expired at the end of the season, confirmed to Times Sport that he signed a one-year contract and is ready to start work.
“Yes, it’s true, I have signed a one-year contract with Etincelles FC. I will start work on Wednesday,” he said.
Seninga first joined Etincelles FC on a short-term deal in February, replacing Burundian coach Mailo Nzeyimana. His contract expired in May but the club initially showed no interest of extending his stay.
He had offers in Zambia but he ended up returning to Etincelles for one more season.
Last season, he helped Etincelles avoid relegation after finishing in 13th place with 34 points.
this is going to be Seninga’s third spell at Etincelles in as many as six years, having first coached the club in 2019.
He also had stints with various Rwandan clubs including Police FC, Bugesera FC, Musanze FC, and Sunrise FC.
