Africa-Press – Rwanda. Tanzania women’s football giants Simba Queens have acquired the services of two Rwandans players — Magnifique Umutesiwase from Indangamirwa WFC and AS Kigali forward Zawadi Usanase — as club continues to reinforce their squad ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Both players agreed to play for Simba Queens on one-year deal each, running until June 2026.
Umutesiwase and Usanase become latest Rwandan players to move to the Tanzanian Women’s top tier league, following striker Jeanine Mukandayisenga who currently plays for Yanga Princess.
They are expected to fill the void left by Violeth Nicholaus, Jentrix Shikangwa and Mwanahamisi who were released by Simba Queens.
