Bayisenge joins Rayon Sports on one-year deal

Africa-Press – Rwanda. Rwanda international Emery Bayisenge has signed one-year deal with Rayon Sports.

Bayisenge, 30, joined the Blues as a free agent after his contract at Gasogi United at the end of the 2024/25 season.

Previously, he played for Gor Mahia in Kenya, APR FC and AS Kigali in Rwanda, KAC de Kenitra of Morocco and USM Alger in Algeria between 2016 and 2018.

He was the captain of the U17 which participated at U17 World Cup 2017 in Mexico.

Rayon could also sign former players Amiss Cedric and Eric Rutanga who have been training with the club since Friday while Olivier Niyonzima is also expected to extend his stay at the club for one more season.

Bayisenge becomes Rayon’s ninth signing, joining the likes of Prince Musore, Chris Rushema, Gloire Tambwe, Mohamed Chelly, goalkeeper Drissa Kouyaté, striker Chadrak Bingi Bello, Aimable Ntarindwa and Abdulaziz Harerimana.
