Africa-Press – Rwanda. President Paul Kagame on Friday, October 10, made two new appointments in the Presidency and the Office of the Prime Minister.
In the Office of the President, Col Regis Rwagasana Sankara was named Deputy Director of Cabinet, replacing Viviane Mukakizima, who was appointed Deputy Director of Cabinet in the Office of the Prime Minister.
Sankara, who will now deputise Dieudonné Gatete, has previously served as Executive Office Security Liaison in the Office of the President.
Until Mukakizima’s new appointment, she had held the position of Deputy Director of Cabinet in the Office of the President since September 18. Prior to that, she had served as Director General of Communications in the same office since July 2021.
