Africa-Press – Rwanda. APR FC’s Burkinabe midfielder Memel Dao will be out for a month due to an ankle injury he suffered during the team’s 1-0 victory over Mukura on Sunday, October 19.

The club’s head coach Taleb Abderrahim, in a media interview, confirmed the injury, noting that it is bad news for the team.

“It is bad news for us and APR fans,” he said.

Dao becomes another important player that the military team has lost through injury, as striker Djibril Ouattara is also sidelined.

On Saturday, October 25, APR FC were held to a goalless draw by SC Kiyovu at Kigali Pele Stadium on Saturday.

The result left APR in fourth position with seven points, while Kiyovu sit just behind with six points.

APR FC will return to action on Saturday, November 1, hosting Rutsiro FC at Umuganda Stadium.
