Africa-Press – Rwanda. Police FC dropped points again with a goalless draw against AS Kigali in the Seventh Day of the Rwanda Premier League held at Kigali Pelé Stadium on Friday, November 7.

Police played without Lague Byiringiro who was removed from camp due to misconduct. Veteran winger Emmanuel Okwi also missed the game against his former side due to illness.

The match started on a slow pace with both teams struggling to create scoring chances.

Police FC piled pressure on AS Kigali on the half hour mark but Ani Elijah and Richard Kirongozi failed to capitalize on their chances.

After the first half ended goalless, the second half started with energy from both sides as they tried to break the deadlock. Prince Rudasingwa was so close to open the scoring he fired the ball wide.

In the 60th minute, Elijah and Leonard Gakwaya again made a strong attack but they both missed the opportunity to put Police FC ahead.

Ben Moussa’s men continued to make more attacking displays but all their attempts failed to make any impact. The game ended with both teams drawing 0-0.

Police FC remain in first place with 17 points, while AS Kigali are now 12th place with five points.
