Africa-Press – Rwanda. Etoile d’lest got off to a bright start in the 2022/23 Rwanda Division 2 League season with a convincing 4-1 win over Interforce at the Ngoma Stadium on Saturday, November 12.
Etoile who dominated proceedings throughout the game raced to a 3-0 lead in the first half of the one sided game.
Claude Kamoso opened the scoring before additional goals from Nigerian striker Samuel Chukwudi Nwosu and Evode gave the home team a 3-0 lead in the first half.
The second half saw Chukwudi, who was the second top scorer last season in the Premier League completing a brace before Interforce pulled one back.
The win is a massive morale booster for the Ngoma based club who are bent on making an early return to the top flight.
