Africa-Press – Rwanda. Prof Kalisa Mbanda, the National Electoral Commission (NEC) Chairperson, has passed on, The New Times has learnt.
Shortly after the sad news started making rounds on social media, on Friday, January 13, Charles Munyaneza, the Executive Secretary of the National Electoral Commission, told The New Times that: “It is true. We have received information from people at Rwanda Military Hospital about his death.”
Munyaneza said he first heard the sad news at around 4 pm.
