The much-anticipated match is scheduled for August 5, but the region, along with the organizers, have already started preparing for it and expect a large number of guests from different parts of the world to host a breathtaking experience in the city. .

Kambogo said Rubavu will host the annual triathlon for three consecutive years, including the first edition in August 2022.
“This time we want to improve mainly in business services, for example accommodation. We ask the private sector to increase the number of rooms, because we expect more than last year and we even want to double the number of people who participated . »
Registration for this year’s edition of the competition has begun since late January.
With the increase in the number of participants, the city of Rubavu expects to generate more revenue in addition to branding and visibility of the region around the world as one of Rwanda’s tourist destinations.
through branding; People now know Rubavu. It is branded everywhere because the participants are from all over the world, so they can easily check the location of the city, available services, etc. This will increase the incomes within the city as well.
Improvements in accommodation and service delivery are among the aspects that the region is currently working on to ensure that guests enjoy their stay in the city based in Western Province.
With more local teams showing interest this year than in the previous competition, the number of Rwandan representatives will also increase.
