Ugandan team in town ahead of FIBA Africa U16 Zone 5 qualifiers

Africa-Press – Rwanda. Uganda Boys’ Under-16 National Basketball team is already in the country for the FIBA Africa U16 Zone 5 qualifiers due from June 28-30 at Lycée de Kigali Gymnasium.

The Junior Silverbacks have been undergoing training at Lugogo national indoor stadium under the stewardship of Coach Adrew Tendo before flying to Kigali on Monday afternoon.

Currently camping at Cenetra Hotel, the team will be chasing the qualification to the 2023 FIBA U16 Afrobasket championships due in Monastir, Tunisia, from August 13-23, against Rwanda Burundi and Tanzania.

The roster

Bono Mujuni, Tindyebwa Harry, Aine Christian, Munashe Isaac, Obua Terrence, Najimal Latim, Mwesigwa Victor, Mugisha Amos, Ladho Emmanuel, Mayen Gany Madul, Makmot Aron, Owiny Zuri and Kayongo Newton.
