Africa-Press – Rwanda. The Government on December 14 made changes aimed at enhancing policy and support for arts and culture.
Consequently, the youth ministry was renamed the Ministry of Youth and Arts. The Ministry of National Unity and Civic Engagement will retain the responsibility for the Cultural Heritage portfolio.
“The two ministries will collaborate closely to ensure the preservation and development of the cultural and creative industries,” reads a statement signed by Prime Minister Edouard Ngirente.
