Africa-Press – Rwanda. A building under construction collapsed in Nyamasheke District, Ruharambuga sector, Kanazi cell, a location commonly referred to as “Shangazi”. The event occurred at a fuel station construction site, leading to the immediate death of one person, while three others sustained injuries.
The news was first reported by the national broadcaster, RBA, around noon on Tuesday, January 16.

The incident adds to the challenges faced by the district, as heavy rains have been wreaking havoc, resulting in road closures for maintenance purposes.
