APR volleyball club will begin their Liberation Day cup defense in men’s category when they take on Police in an opening match at Petit Stade on Friday, 26.
The 2024 edition of the tournament, which runs through July 28, will attract eight teams including four in each of men’s and women’s categories.
Police, Kepler, APR and Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will be contesting for the men’s trophy while APR, Ruhango, RRA and holders Police are vying for the silverware in women category.
Games also start on Friday in women’s category with a match between Ruhango and APR.
On Saturday July 27, Rwanda Energy Group (REG) will play against Kepler in the men category, while holders Police will take on the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) in women’s category.
The third place and final games will be played on Sunday July 28.
