Africa-Press – Rwanda. It was another exciting weekend for Rwandan players abroad strikers Quentin Rushenguziminega and Kamari Doyle both hit doubles while King Josias Furaha also scored for FK Jerv.

Elsewhere, Samuel Gueulette, David Okoce, Nelson Irumva and Barthazar Ndayishimiye all put up superb performances for their respective teams.

England

In the League 1, Doyle Kamari scored twice in the 23rd and 52nd minutes before being substituted in the 72nd minute as his team Crawley Town defeated Rotherham United 2-0 on Saturday.

Denmark

Defensive midfielder Sanders Ngabo played 79 minutes for AC Horsens who lost 1-0 to league leaders OB on Sunday.

Belgium

Midfielder Hakim Sahabo played full throttle for Beerschot who lost 1-0 to Sint- Truidense at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday.

In the second tier league, central midfielder Samuel Gueulette lasted full 90 minutes for promotion-chasing Raal La Louviere who beat Jong Genk 1-0 on Saturday.

In the third tier league, winger Louange Muhire was introduced in the second half for KVK Ninove who beat Tienen 2-0 on Saturday.

Striker Glen Habimana was a second substitute for fourth tier league side Royal Hutoise who lost 2-0 to Schaerbeek- Evere on Sunday.

Centre back Jeremie Mugabo played full 90 minutes for Royal Union Namur who were given a 4-0 thumping at the hands of Union Gilloise B.

France

In the French Ligue 1, Warren Kamanzi came into the game in the 94th minute replacing Djibril Sidibe as his team Toulouse lost 4-2 to Brest on Sunday.

Forward Joel Mugisha tasted 75 minutes of action for Ligue 2 leaders Lorient in their 2-1 win over Grenoble Foot 38 at Stade des Alps on Saturday.

Sweden

Yannick Mukunzi was not in the match day squad of Sandviken IF who played 0-0 with Kalmar FF in the opening day of the 2025 Swedish second tier league.

Azerbaijan

Defensive stalwart Ange Mutsinzi was an unused substitute for Zira FK who thrashed Shamakhi 3-0 on Sunday.

Striker Innocent Nshuti replaced Mirabdulla Abbasov in the 58th minute as his team Sabail FK drew 1-1 with Kapaz.

Switzerland

Johan Marvin Kury was introduced into the game in the 63rd minute as his team SR Delemont lost 2-0 to FC Basel II in the Swiss 3rd tier.

Veteran striker Quentin Rushenguziminega netted a brace for FC Echallens who humiliated Yverdon Sports II 4-0. Rushenguziminega has netted 12 goals in 17 games so far this season in the fourth tier league.

Espoir Niyo Nsanzineza also played full 90 minutes for Freienbach who lost 3-2 to Kreuzlingen on Saturday.

Norway

Josias King Furaha scored in the 65th minute before being substituted in the 76th minute as his club FK Jerv drew 1-1 with Pors Grenland on Saturday. Compatriot Emmanue Baru Gisa played full time for Pors Grenland.

Germany

Rwanda trio Barthazar Ndayishimiye, Nelson Irumva and David Okoce all had 90 minutes of action for FC Bayern Munich Global Academy who beat DFI Bad Aibling U18 3-2 on Thursday.

South Africa

Goalkeeper Fiacre Ntwari was not in the match day squad of Kaizer Chiefs who lost 2-1 to Golden Arrows in the Betway Premiership on Saturday.
