Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>APR FC clinched their 14th Peace Cup title with a commanding 2-0 win over rivals Rayon Sports in the final at a packed Amahoro Stadium on Sunday, May 4.<\/p>\n

First-half goals from in-form Burkinabe striker Djibril Ouattara and winger Gilbert Mugisha secured the victory\u2014their first since 2017.<\/p>\n

The stadium, filled with 45,000 passionate supporters, buzzed with energy as both teams battled fiercely.<\/p>\n

The atmosphere inside a fully-packed Amahoro Stadium was electrifying. The edifice was filled to the brim as fans, clad in APR and Rayon colours, sparked deafening noise to cheer their side up.<\/p>\n

With the win, APR now have a shot at representing Rwanda in the 2025\/26 CAF Confederation Cup, if they don\u2019t win the league.<\/p>\n

The Peace Cup final took place at Amahoro Stadium on Sunday, May 4.<\/p>\n

Ouatarra found gave APR the lead just two minutes later after he stole the ball from Kevin Muhire, left Hakim Bugingo for dead and easily dribbled past Richard Ndayishimiye before hitting the ball past goalkeeper Patience Ndikuriyo<\/p>\n
