Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>APR Handball Club head coach Anaclet Bagirishya believes that his side aren\u2019t putting their hands off the national handball title and vowed to come back stronger in Game 3 of the finals which will resume on June 13.<\/p>\n

Police beat APR HC 26-25 in Game 1 on Friday, May 23, and returned on Sunday to dominate the army side with 36-30 in Game 2 on Sunday at Petit Stade. Now leading the best-of-five finals series 2-0, they are just one win away from lifting the title.<\/p>\n

However, Bagirishya insists that their rivals shouldn\u2019t expect the title to come so easy as he hopes his men can turn the series around.<\/p>\n

“I am not happy with results we\u2019ve had and the way we have been playing in the last two matches. We count it over when we finish the best-of-five series,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

“I am not satisfied with the result but I believe we can win the Game 3. We missed some good chances to score and we didn\u2019t defend well and this is the most important issue we need to work on and improve before going into the Game 3.\u201d<\/p>\n

“We know losing the second game has demoralized my team because the opponent has one game to win the title but we can change our mindset and get ready for challenge ahead,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Like Bagirishya said, Police HC coach Antoine Ntabanganyimana admitted that the battle is not over yet despite leading the series 2-0 after Sunday\u2019s crucial win.<\/p>\n

He praised his team for their performance in the past two games but urged them to stay focused until they finish the battle.<\/p>\n

“I am very grateful with the way we performed, it was a big win for my players against strongest sides in Rwanda but we haven\u2019t finished our work yet. We will come again looking to beat them, to finish the business, because I don\u2019t want to go to the four game which can cost us,\u201d Ntabanganyimana said.<\/p>\n

Finals action will resume in the weekend of June 13-15 at Petit Stade.<\/p>\n
