Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Kigali is in its final stretch of preparations to host the 2025 UCI Road World Championships, scheduled for September 21-28.<\/p>\n

The global cycling event, coming to Africa for the first time, is drawing excitement across Rwanda and beyond.<\/p>\n

Three days to kick-off, fleets of cars and motorbikes are lined up, ready to facilitate smooth operations during the week-long competition.<\/p>\n

At Amahoro Stadium dozens of Volkswagen vehicles branded with the UCI logo have been parked in neat rows. These cars will serve race officials, team managers, and technical crews throughout the championship. Motorbikes will escort cyclists and ensure safety during the race.<\/p>\n

In different parts of Kigali, roads are undergoing final touches to meet international cycling standards.<\/p>\n

Around the city, workers can be seen repainting markings, putting up direction signs, and clearing routes to guarantee smooth racing conditions.<\/p>\n
