Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>President Paul Kagame on Friday, October 3, commissioned 1,029 officer cadets who completed months of training at the passing-out ceremony held at the Rwanda Military Academy, Gako in Bugesera District.<\/p>\n

Among the officers, 117 are women. The cohort includes 42 officers who received training in partner countries, alongside those who completed a one-year military training course at the academy.<\/p>\n

It also includes graduates of the four-year Social and Military Sciences degree program, as well as officers who completed a nine-month course.<\/p>\n

The ceremony was attended by senior military officers, government officials, members of the diplomatic corps, the officers’ families and friends.<\/p>\n
