Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The Burundi Basketball Federation (FEBABU) has announced that Dynamo BBC will not take part in the 2026 \u201cRoad to BAL\u201d competition which will commence on October 17.<\/p>\n

According to FEBABU, the decision follows the club\u2019s failure to meet certain eligibility requirements within the set deadlines including the pending lifting of a suspension imposed by the Basketball Africa League (BAL) after Dynamo\u2019s disqualification from Kalahari Conference in March 2024.<\/p>\n

As the \u201cRoad to BAL\u201d and the Elite 16 serve as qualifying stages for the Basketball Africa League, FEBABU stated that Dynamo\u2019s participation would not produce the intended competitive outcomes for the current season.<\/p>\n

However, the federation encouraged Dynamo BBC to continue its efforts to regularize its situation and prepare for full participation in future editions of the continental tournament.<\/p>\n
