Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Rwanda head coach Adel Amrouche has said that he won\u2019t blame anyone for the team\u2019s loss to South Africa and stays optimistic that the matches he coached during World Cup Qualifiers have helped him to know where to start from in building strong team in the future.<\/p>\n

The Algerian-Belgian coach made the comments after his side lost 3-0 to Bafana Bafana in Tuesday\u2019s final World Cup qualifying match at Mbombela Stadium.<\/p>\n

While the win was enough for Hugo Broos\u2019 team to qualify for the World Cup for the first time since 2010, Amrouche said the recent matches of the qualifying campaign have given him a picture of the team he has at his disposal and necessary things to fix moving forward.<\/p>\n

Amavubi have lost four matches, won once and drew once under Amrouche, putting his performance under scrutiny. However, the Belgian only believes that the games served as a learning experience for him because he was able to identify the current performance level of his players.<\/p>\n

Amrouche highlighted the need for changes which can positively impact the national team.<\/p>\n

“Today we are in the process of building the team. These games are a lesson for us. I cannot blame any of our players but football is like that. I was not expecting to lose with all these games but it is part of the football,” he said in a post-match press conference.<\/p>\n

He admitted that his men made mistakes that cost them, suggesting that the federation and stakeholders need to make necessary adjustments in Rwanda\u2019s football structure, and youth development.<\/p>\n
