Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The Rwanda Development Board (RDB) is set to launch a new, consolidated digital portal known as One Stop Center, which will move the country\u2019s business registration process entirely online.<\/p>\n

The upgraded system, scheduled to go live on January 5, 2026, aims to make starting and managing a business in Rwanda faster and more efficient for both local and international investors.<\/p>\n

To prepare for the transition, the current registration system will be offline for a four-day period, the RDB said in a statement on Wednesday, December 31.<\/p>\n

The downtime begins Wednesday and will continue through January 4, as technical teams perform data migration and final configurations.<\/p>\n

This digital shift is part of Rwanda\u2019s broader strategy to modernize its economy and improve the ease of doing business.<\/p>\n

The RDB highlights that by centralizing investor services at the new portal (https:\/\/onestopcentre.rdb.rw) the RDB intends to eliminate hurdles and provide a seamless experience for business registration and management.<\/p>\n

The RDB describes the move as a transformation of the registration experience.<\/p>\n

The board stated that the new system is \u201cfaster, smarter, and more seamless,\u201d reflecting Rwanda\u2019s ambition to remain a top investment destination in Africa.<\/p>\n

During the migration window, no new data entry or business operations can be processed through the old system, according to RDB.<\/p>\n

The new portal will not only handle business registrations but will also progressively add other investor-related services.<\/p>\n
