Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Senegalese striker Fall Ngagne has returned to full training with Rayon Sports following a lengthy injury layoff that sidelined him for more than 10 months.<\/p>\n

Ngagne was spotted training with the rest of the squad at Nzove training ground on Wednesday as the team continues preparations for the FERWAFA Super Cup 2025 clash against APR FC, scheduled for Saturday, January 10, at Amahoro Stadium.<\/p>\n

The forward recently returned to Kigali after a three-week holiday spent with his family in Senegal, and Times Sport understands that he has fully recovered from the injury he sustained in February 2025 during a league match against Mukura VS at Huye Stadium.<\/p>\n

However, it remains unclear whether Ngagne will be available for selection for Saturday\u2019s encounter against APR FC.<\/p>\n

His return would provide a major boost for the Blues, who have also been active in the January transfer window, reinforcing their squad ahead of the second round of the Rwanda Premier League.<\/p>\n

Rayon Sports have signed goalkeeper Olivier Kwizera, Ben Aziz Dao, Yannick Bangala Litomba, Bienvenu Joachim Vigninou and Ramazani Tshimanga Tshilem. All new signings are eligible to feature in the Super Cup, subject to head coach Bruno Ferry\u2019s assessment of their tactical readiness.<\/p>\n

Recent Super Cup history favours Rayon Sports, who have won the last two editions against APR FC. Under former coach Olivier Karekezi, the Blues lifted the 2017 Super Cup with a 2-0 victory at Umuganda Stadium. That match was initially halted in the 63rd minute due to a power outage in Rubavu, with the remaining 27 minutes later played at Kigali Stadium, where APR FC failed to mount a comeback.<\/p>\n

Rayon Sports went on to win the 2023 Super Cup as well, thrashing APR FC 3-0 at Kigali Stadium in Nyamirambo.<\/p>\n

However, this year\u2019s Super Cup comes at a time when APR FC hold the recent head-to-head advantage, having gone unbeaten in their last four meetings with Rayon Sports\u2014winning two and drawing two.<\/p>\n

The winners of the 2025 Super Cup will take home Rwf 20 million, while the runners-up will receive Rwf 10 million. The prize money applies to both the men\u2019s and women\u2019s Super Cup matches.<\/p>\n

The Women\u2019s Super Cup will see league champions Rayon Sports WFC face Indahangarwa WFC, winners of the Women\u2019s Peace Cup.<\/p>\n
