Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Rayon Sports head coach Bruno Ferry insists his side is focused on securing three points\u2014not settling scores\u2014when they face league leaders Al Hilal in a Rwanda Premier League showdown at Kigali Pele Stadium on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Al Hilal handed the Blues a heavy 4\u20130 defeat at Amahoro Stadium in January. However, ahead of the rescheduled Matchday 19 clash, Ferry dismissed any talk of revenge, stressing that his team\u2019s priority is to maintain their strong second-round form.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is not about revenge, it is about three points. The players have started to gain confidence, and we must keep working hard. We are building a team that continues to win matches,\u201d Ferry said.<\/p>\n

A victory would narrow the gap at the top to just three points, keeping Rayon firmly in the title conversation.<\/p>\n

Al Hilal currently top the table with 41 points and two games in hand, while Rayon Sports sit fifth with 35 points and one game in hand\u2014Wednesday\u2019s fixture against the Sudanese giants.<\/p>\n

Matches face delays amide stadium power issues<\/p>\n

The Rwanda Premier League has also announced further schedule disruptions due to persistent power shortages at Kigali Pele Stadium.<\/p>\n

Among the affected fixtures is SC Kiyovu\u2019s home match against Marines FC, initially slated for Tuesday, February 24. The City of Kigali temporarily closed the stadium the same day to address the electrical faults, forcing postponement of the encounter.<\/p>\n

Another impacted fixture is Al Merrikh SC versus AS Muhanga, originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at 3:00 PM. The league body has deferred the match to a date yet to be confirmed.<\/p>\n

League officials say updates on the revised schedule will be communicated once the stadium\u2019s power issues are fully resolved.<\/p>\n
