Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The Youth League of the ruling RPF-Inkotanyi has elected a new national committee during its sixth congress held on Sunday, March 22, at the party headquarters in Rusororo, Gasabo District.<\/p>\n

The newly elected committee is led by Ernest Mugisha as President, with Nelly Rwagitare serving as Vice President and Esther Urindwa Kwizera as Secretary General.<\/p>\n

Other members include Israel Nuru Mupenzi as Commissioner for Good Governance, Valentine Niyodusingize as Commissioner for Economy, Kesly Kayiteshonga as Commissioner for Justice, and Gerinus Icyoyishakiye as Commissioner for Social Welfare.<\/p>\n

The newly elected president thanked members for the trust they placed in the new leadership. He said that such confidence should not be taken lightly or met with excitement alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is a responsibility that requires me to carry out my duties with wisdom and in close collaboration with my colleagues,\u201d Mugisha said.<\/p>\n

He also commended the outgoing leaders for the significant work they accomplished, noting that the new committee will build on that foundation.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs young people, let us commit to changing our mindset and act as winners. We are the future of our country. What we have achieved today is largely thanks to our parents but preserving it and achieving even more will require unity and collective effort to build the Rwanda we want,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

RPF-Inkotanyi Secretary General Amb Christophe Bazivamo said the youth congress was not just about elections but a moment of reflection and renewed commitment.<\/p>\n

He also thanked the outgoing committee for its performance, saying that about 90 per cent of the planned activities were successfully implemented.<\/p>\n

Bazivamo encouraged the new leaders to build on that progress and work collectively to achieve more.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe confidence placed in you comes with high expectations,\u201d Bazivamo told the new committee.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou must work even harder to deliver greater results, building on what has already been achieved. We expect transformation and sustainable development, and as members of the RPF, we will work together to help you achieve your goals.\u201d<\/p>\n
