Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The Rwanda Basketball League (RBL) will effectively take an extended break until May 6 to make way for the upcoming CAVB Men\u2019s Club Championship, which will be held in Kigali from April 22 to May 3.<\/p>\n

The decision was announced on Monday by the Rwanda Basketball Federation (FERWABA).<\/p>\n

FERWABA Executive Director Franc\u0327ois-Re\u0301gis Gahuranyi told Times Sport that the pause was necessary as key venues\u2014BK Arena and Petit Stade Gymnasium\u2014have been reserved to host the continental tournament.<\/p>\n

When the league resumes, RSSB Tigers will have joined the camp preparing for the Basketball Africa League (BAL) playoffs between May 22 to 31.<\/p>\n

At the time of the break, Patriots lead the standings with 19 points, two ahead of Rwanda Energy Group (REG), while APR sit third with 15 points.<\/p>\n
