Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Gisagara Volleyball Club, on Wednesday, May 4 departs for Tunis, the capital of Tunisia for the 2022 African Club Championships slated for May 7-18.<\/p>\n

The team last appeared at the continental competition in 2019 in Cairo, finishing 11th in that edition.<\/p>\n

They are representing Rwanda in the tournament due to the fact that they were the champions of the local volleyball league.<\/p>\n

Times Sport understands that they will fly on Wednesday night aboard Turkish Airlines.<\/p>\n

Fidele Nyirimana, the Head Coach of the team told this newspaper that the boys have had enough time to train together and he is confident they will put up a good show at the tournament.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe team has been training for the past three weeks. I believe we have a strong team and we expect to do something big in this competition,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
