Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>eLearning Africa, Africa\u2019s leading conference and exhibition on digital learning, education, training and skills development, will take place at Kigali Convention Centre from May 11 to 13, 2022.<\/p>\n

The conference is the key Pan-African and global networking event which brings together high-level policy makers, decision makers, experts, practitioners, solution providers, newcomers and other representatives from education institutions, businesses and governments.<\/p>\n

According to Rebecca Stromeyer, founder of the conference, eLearning Africa\u2019s comprehensive agenda and content rich programme features twelve pre-conference workshops and 76 sessions in 12 simultaneous tracks on where technologies are helping to transform education and training.<\/p>\n

Its accompanying exhibition, she continued, is eLearning Africa’s networking hub that hosts leading international and African education, training and technology companies and institutions.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will allow you to explore the leading learning technology providers and acquaint yourself with the disruptive business models of international EdTech start-ups,\u201d added Stromeyer. \u201cIt will also help you to find partners and solutions for a successful digital transformation.\u201d<\/p>\n

For over 17 consecutive years, eLearning Africa has hosted over 18,000 participants from more than a hundred countries around the world, with over 80 per cent coming from the African continent. More than 3,800 speakers have addressed the conference about every aspect of technology-supported learning, training and skills development.<\/p>\n

According to Stromeyer, the event also offers unrivalled networking opportunities and allows an attendee to develop multinational and cross-industry contacts and partnerships.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt will help you to enhance your knowledge, expertise and abilities in the field of digital learning, training and skills development. You can learn about the best African and global practices. It also allows you to engage in discussions on the latest strategies and initiatives, lets you shape and contribute to the discussions and insights and you will gain insights from skilled experts and practitioners,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

The conference\u2019s programme is well-packed; whether one wants to learn about scenario tools to incorporate in future eLearning strategy; to create and publish their own interactive online course with an open solution; to get hands-on ‘best practice’ teaching workflows; to start developing digital learning solutions and join a network offering free courses; to discover new tools for empowerment and free online learning courses for entrepreneurs; to improve the curation of existing content; or to learn how to access the UNESCO ICT Competency Framework for Teachers and use it to shape training initiatives using Open Educational Resources.<\/p>\n

The visit to the exhibition is free of charge and it will be open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm on each day of the event (Wednesday, May 11 \u2013 Friday, May 13). The visitors need to be vaccinated and to present negative Covid-19 test results.<\/p>\n
