Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The national men\u2019s beach volleyball team are stepping up preparations for the upcoming Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

The 12-day beach volleyball Commonwealth showpiece begins on July 28 and runs until August 8.<\/p>\n

Since last week, Head coach Christopher Mudahinyuka has been putting men through their places as they continue intensive training sessions at Lake Kivu Beach in Rubavu District.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe preparations are going well and our only target is to win all games in our Group,\u201d Mudahinyuka said.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Ntagengwa said he and his teammates are ready for the challenge in Birmingham.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are fit, and mentally ready for the tough mission in Birmingham,\u201d Olivier Ntagengwa said.<\/p>\n

Players who are in camp are; Olivier Ntagengwa, Venuste Ngatsinzi, Fils Habanzitwari, Prince Kanamugire, Manuel Mugisha and Mandera Nzirimo.<\/p>\n

Group A: Canada, Gambia, Saint Kitts and Nevis and Sri Lanka<\/p>\n

Group B: Australia, Rwanda, South Africa and Maldives<\/p>\n

Group C: England, New Zealand, Cyprus and Tuvalu<\/p>\n
