Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Rwanda has for the second time in a row been given the rights to host the ICC Men\u2019s T20 World Cup Sub-regional Africa qualifiers slated between for November and December this year.<\/p>\n

A successful coordination of four Africa regional qualifying competitions that Rwanda hosted last year impressed the World Cricket governing body (ICC) and the country\u2019s fast progress in hosting international cricket events inspired ICC to bring the World Cup Africa qualifiers to Kigali.<\/p>\n

The country will this time be hosting ICC Men\u2019s T20 Sub Regional World Cup Qualifier Group A, from November 15-24 before hosting the Group B qualifiers from November 30 to December 6.<\/p>\n

A total of 16 countries pooled in two groups will gather in the Rwandan capital in November for the qualifiers with just one ticket up for grabs.<\/p>\n

Group A comprises eight teams including Botswana, Cameroon, Eswatini, Gambia, Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho and Malawi.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, hosts Rwanda are in Group B of the qualifiers alongside Mali, Mozambique, Nigeria, St Helena, Seychelles, Sierra Leone and Tanzania.<\/p>\n

Two top teams from each group will progress to the ICC Men\u2019s T20 World Cup Africa regional finals which is the decisive stage that will produce two teams that will represent Africa at the ICC Men\u2019s T20 World Cup 2024 that will take place in the United States and West Indies.<\/p>\n
