Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The 2022\/23 Rwanda national football league will start on August 19, according to fixtures released by the local football governing body (Ferwafa) on Monday.<\/p>\n

Champions APR will start their campaign against Musanze at Kigali stadium on the opening day, at 6pm CAT, with last season’s runners-up SC Kiyovu taking on Bugesera FC at Nyamata Stadium.<\/p>\n

Peace Cup holders AS Kigali will start their new season with a clash against Etincelles, while Police FC will visit Sunrise on the same day.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Super Cup match pitting league champions, APR, and Peace Cup winners, AS Kigali, will be played on August 14.<\/p>\n

Rwanda’s topflight league comprises 16 clubs; APR, Rayon Sports, Police, SC Kiyovu, Marines, Bugesera, Espoir, Mukura, Etincelles, AS Kigali, Gasogi United, Gorilla, Sunrise, Musanze, Rutsiro and Rwamagana City.<\/p>\n
