Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>After finishing in third-place in the second round of the Rwanda basketball league, APR have turned attention to preparing for the semi-finals of the playoffs.<\/p>\n

Four teams that finished in the top four positions of the league will rub shoulders in the playoffs to establish the champion of this season.<\/p>\n

The teams – Rwanda Energy Group, Patriots, Tigers, and APR will play a best of three semi-final series, after which two of them will proceed to a best of five finals.<\/p>\n

In an interview, Cliff Owuor, the head coach of APR basketball said the team will embark on thorough preparations for the semis, noting that they expect stiff competition from the rivals.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will be preparing well for the semi-finals. Here every team has the ability to win this year\u2019s title. We will do our best until the last game of the tournament.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the fixtures, Patriots will play against Tigers, while REG will take on APR in the best of three semi-finals that will take place between the 26th to the 31st of this month at Kepler University court and Aiper-Nyandungu court.<\/p>\n

The finals will take place between the 7th to 16th of next month at the BK Arena.<\/p>\n
