SC Kiyovu skipper Ally Serumogo has challenged the team to repeat last year\u2019s title challenge this season as the club prepares to host Sunrise after the international break.<\/p>\n

The Green Baggies lost the league trophy to APR on the last day of the season by just one point and the Amavubi International thinks the squad is strong enough to mount another challenge this year.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe team has improved greatly and we want to keep improving every game. Although it is still early days, we are more than determined to fight for the league title again,\u201d Serumogo said<\/p>\n

Before the horrendous events of the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi, Kiyovu were the most successful football in the country with six league titles.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Sunrise head coach Innocent Seninga said that his team is ready to upset Kiyovu.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe know Kiyovu is a good side, they have been very busy in the transfer market, signing very good players. I expect a tough match but we will come for points and I think we are hungrier to do well,\u201d Seninga said.<\/p>\n

Kiyovu leads the table with nine points after three matches followed by Rayon Sports who will visit trick Marines at Umuganda Stadium. Bugesera will take on Etincelles and Mukura will entertain Gorilla.<\/p>\n
