Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>APR captain Djabel Manishiwe apologized to coach Adil Mohammed Erradi in an effort to end the pair\u2019s chaotic relationship in the dressing room.<\/p>\n

The two recently engaged in public spat, one blaming the other for the club\u2019s torrid run of form in continental and local football competitions.<\/p>\n

Their relationship went from bad to worse when the Moroccan criticized Manishimwe in the media, stating that he considers the midfielder as \u201cnot my captain but APR\u2019s. \u201d The coach claimed that the player\u2019s poor form cost the club important results during the military side\u2019s early CAF Champions League elimination by Tunisia\u2019s Monastir as well as their league defeat against Bugesera FC.<\/p>\n

The criticisms angered the club captain who, in turn, took a jibe at his coach for only blaming some of his players, including him, when the team is struggling for results yet they were instrumental in helping him enjoy a successful spell at the club during the past three seasons.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you share the best moments, you should also be sharing the worst and get through it together. But if you start blaming one person, then you\u2019re not a man,\u201d the player said.<\/p>\n

While the comments may have fueled the pair\u2019s deteriorating relationship, Manishimwe was quick to apologize for the way he behaved towards his coach.<\/p>\n

\u201cI made a mistake and I want to say sorry to coach Adil,\u201d he said in an Instagram statement on Friday, October 14.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhat I did was not professional, I lost control… and now I ask everyone to forgive me. This is the last time I show this attitude,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

A series of disputes were reported in the club recently, with Adil reported to have lost his dressing room, especially when he started criticising players in the media.<\/p>\n

Times Sport understands the tactician was given a one-month suspension as his employers assess his current performance and behavior in and off the pitch.<\/p>\n
