City Oilers Vs Army Basketball Club<\/p>\n

FIBA Africa on Sunday, October 23, confirmed a new schedule for Group C of the qualifier for the Basketball Africa League (BAL).<\/p>\n

Initially scheduled to take place in Kampala, Uganda, from October 25-30, the qualifier for BAL Season 3 was moved to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and will take place from October 28-30 at Benjamin Mkapa National Indoor Stadium in Dar es Salaam.<\/p>\n

Following the withdrawal of Ethiopia’s Hawassa City, four teams will battle in Group C looking to secure the two tickets on offer for the Elite 16 Round.<\/p>\n

Participating teams are Army Basketball Club (Tanzania), Urunani BBC (Burundi), City Oilers (Uganda) and Matero Magic (Zambia).<\/p>\n

Teams qualified for the Elite 16 Round so far<\/p>\n

Group E: Abidjan, (C\u00f4te d’Ivoire) in November:<\/p>\n

AS Sale (Morocco), FAP (Cameroon), SLAC (Guinea – *TBD), Bangui Sporting Club (Central African Republic), Nueva Era (Equatorial Guinea), Abidjan Basket Club (Cote d’Ivoire) and Stade Malien (Mali).<\/p>\n

Group F (South Africa) November 22-27):<\/p>\n

Ferroviario da Beira (Mozambique), Cape Town Tigers (South Africa), Cobra Sports (TBD), COSPN (Madagascar) and Kenya Ports Authority (Kenya).<\/p>\n

The teams that finish in the top two places of Groups C will be added to Group F.<\/p>\n
