Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>President Paul Kagame on Thursday, November 10 appointed Jean-Claude Musabyimana as Minister of Local Government, replacing Jean-Marie Vianney Gatabazi.<\/p>\n

Musabyimana has been serving as the Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal resources (MINAGRI).<\/p>\n

There was no official communication of the new role of Gatabazi, who has been at the helm of the Ministry since March, last year.<\/p>\n

Musabyimana, an Agriculture hydrology engineer, also previously served as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Lands and Forestry.<\/p>\n

He has over 15 years of working experience as a lecturer and local government adminstrator.<\/p>\n

Musabyimana has also served as governor of the Northern Province, and mayor for Musanze district.<\/p>\n
