Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Classes for the second term are set to begin across the country on Monday, January 9. However, boarding school students will return to their respective schools from January 5 to 8.<\/p>\n

Students from the districts of Nyaruguru, Huye, Nyabihu, Rubavu, Musanze, Rwamagana, and Kayonza will be the first to depart on Thursday, according to an announcement by the National Examination and School Inspection Authority, NESA.<\/p>\n

On January 6, students from the districts of Muhanga, Nyamagabe, Rulindo, Gakenke, Karongi, Rutsiro, Ngoma, and Kirehe will follow, and then on January 7, students from the districts of Nyanza, Kamonyi, Gisumbi, Nyamasheke, Rusizi, Gatsibo, and Nyagatare.<\/p>\n

Finally, students from Nyarugenge, Gasabo, Kicukiro, Gisagara, Ruhango, Burera, Ngororero, and Bugesera districts will also depart on January 8, in time to begin the term on January 9.<\/p>\n

To make travel easier, the government has arranged buses to transport students departing from Kigali and those passing through Kigali to other provinces to their schools. NESA stated that the meeting point would be the ULK\/Gisozi stadium.<\/p>\n

The stadium will be closed by 3pm. Parents are thus encouraged to send their children to school on time according to the scheduled transport calendar, to avoid high turn-ups in the last days which may paralyze public transport.<\/p>\n

Students were also encouraged to wear uniform and carry their student identification card. Local governments were also asked to help the programme run smoothly.<\/p>\n
