Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Estonian Cycling Team, Tartu 2024, has become the first team to arrive in Rwanda ahead of the much-anticipated 2023 Tour du Rwanda slated for February 19-26.<\/p>\n

The team arrived Friday, February 10, as they hope to adapt to the weather and also have pre-competition exercise in order to be in shape and become familiar with the terrain.<\/p>\n

The team will have a seven-day training camp at the Africa Rising Cycling Centre in Musanze where they will do some mountain climbing workout ahead of the event.<\/p>\n

The Tartu 24 team is made up of of a five-man roster that includes Kiskonen Siim, 26, who is ranked 770 in the world by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI), Finish Kinaapi Markus, Krasts Alekss, a 21-year-old Latvian mountain bike rider, budding Estonian rider Kurits Joonas aged 20 and Pajur Markus, who previously featured for for UCI ProTeam Arke\u0301a\u2013Samsic.<\/p>\n
