Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Second division side Intare FC will attempt a giant-killing at Ikirenga Stadium on Tuesday, February 28, when they host Rayon Sports in a Peace Cup round of 16 game.<\/p>\n

The Blues look better positioned to win the encounters on paper but Intare will be aiming to cause a major upset.<\/p>\n

Coach Francis Haringingo could rest most of his key players ahead of Saturday\u2019s league clash against Etincelles and could introduce a second-team to give the likes of Prince Rudasingwa and Boubacar Traore a chance to shine.<\/p>\n

Rayon are hoping to play in an African club competition and aren\u2019t ready to take the Peace up for granted and with Intare coming their way, they must dispatch the second tier club on the road to realize their dream as they look to bet on the Cup and the league to be able to qualify for either the CAF Champions League or Confederation Cup.<\/p>\n

Intare FC players also see the encounter as a great avenue for them to show their mettle as any good performance which they hope would earn them a promotion to play topflight football at parent club APR FC next season.<\/p>\n

In another fixture, Rwamagana City will be aiming to book their ticket to the quarter finals of the competition in grand style when they lock horns with Esperance.<\/p>\n

The Eastern Province-based side looks forward to killing the game in the first leg so as to make the second fixture a mere formality.<\/p>\n

Esperance, on the other hand, are well poised for the game as they hope to get a good result in Rwamagana and eventually eliminate them in the second leg.<\/p>\n
