And how encouraging it was to see him in the tribune of honour sitting next to his Burundian counterpart exchanging a few friendly words.<\/p>\n

And what a message from the Rwandan Prime Minister today! \u201cI have come to reiterate Rwanda\u2019s commitment to work with you, Mr. President of the Republic, to strengthen our strategic partnership. I am convinced that we are ready to work for the consolidation and promotion of the existing relations of friendship for the benefit of our two peoples \u201d. A solemn commitment.<\/p>\n

And it was the same in the message delivered by the Head of State:\u201cYour visit to Burundi is like a miracle after long months of \u2018teasing\u2019 what happens between cousins, as we say at home\u201d. It is an eloquent sign, we have understood the message.\u2026 We must start a new chapter, a \u201cNew Covenant\u201d and put an end to the past to make room for the present \u201d. A message full of hope.<\/p>\n
