Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Sunrise FC head coach Innocent Seninga won\u2019t be available on the club touchline until early May after undergoing surgery.<\/p>\n

Seninga sustained an Achilles tendon injury while preparing his team for the league game against Gorilla on Friday, March 31, and had to undergo an operation.<\/p>\n

Club Secretary General Dr. Frank Kahangwa revealed that the gaffer has been given a month off for his recovery process.<\/p>\n

“Seninga sustained an Achilles tendon injury prior to our game with Gorilla and he had surgery,” Kahangwa told Times Sport.<\/p>\n

“He had been given one month for his recovery process,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

In Seninga\u2019s absence, Kahangwa said, his assistant Gilbert Tugirimana will take charge of the team he returns.<\/p>\n

“Assistant coach will be at the helm of affairs until the head coach returns,” he added.<\/p>\n

The tactician could be back on May 6 when Sunrise FC host Musanze in a league encounter that will be held at Nyagatare Stadium.<\/p>\n

Sunrise currently sit 13th on the league table with 25 points from 24 games.<\/p>\n
