Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Landry Jabo has stepped down from his position as Executive Director of the local basketball governing body (FERWABA).<\/p>\n

The development was confirmed to Times Sport by FERWABA president Desire Mugwiza, dismissing reports suggesting that he was dropped.<\/p>\n

\u201cFERWABA is expanding, and we have many projects some of which Jabo will be in charge,\u201d Mugwiza said.<\/p>\n

Jabo, he said, will take on major projects including Women’s AfroBasket and Basketball Africa League (BAL), among others.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe will also continue working with our (Ferwaba) partners.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fionah Ishimwe will not take over Jabo\u2019s position the federation\u2019s new Executive Director.<\/p>\n

Landry Jabo has been serving as the Afrobasket Coordinator and Executive Director of the Rwanda Basketball Federation since 2021.<\/p>\n
