Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Rayon Sports WFC sealed women\u2019s top flight league promotion after Saturday\u2019s 10-1 second division league semifinal second leg victory over Nasho WFC.<\/p>\n

The Blues dominated the game from the first minute through its midfield and made quick attacking transitions which paid dividends.<\/p>\n

Goal machine Florance Imanizabayo and Rosine Uwiringiyimana bagged a hat trick each while Dorothe\u0301e Mukeshimana and Kenyan Otieno Judith each scored two goals.<\/p>\n

Rayon Sports women\u2019s team was officially unveiled last year and it took them just one season in the second division to finish the campaign unbeaten, hence qualifying for women\u2019s top flight football in an extraordinary style.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt wasn\u2019t an easy journey, we gave everything with a lot of sacrifices because achieving top flight football was our biggest ambition, so we\u2019re very happy,\u201d said team captain Andersen Uwase after the match.<\/p>\n

\u201cTopflight teams should start worrying because we are coming for them,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

The Blues will play either APR WFC or Indahangarwa in the second division final to decide the champions.<\/p>\n
