Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Vision FC striker Rashid Mutebi has said that the team hasn\u2019t lost topflight league promotion hopes despite dropping points in their first two mini-league games.<\/p>\n

The former Entincelles and Musanze number nine revealed that Vision players still believe they can qualify for the Premier League as they prepare for Sunday\u2019s third game against Amagaju FC at Mumena stadium.<\/p>\n

Vision looks so fragile after dropping points in two consecutive draws to hand the advantage to the former top flights Etoile and Amagaju.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not good for us to continue dropping points in this way in a small league like this,\u201d said Mutebi.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve have two points in two games. The first two teams are only one and two points ahead of us, so that\u2019s only one game in the calculation. Now every game is going to be a final for us. On Sunday we have a tough game against Amagaju. We will try our best to get our first three points and I think that would be a nice turnaround if we manage to do so.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vision FC have not scored or conceded a goal in the past two fixtures. Coach Felix Muvunyi said that the tough opponents they faced aren\u2019t going to be excuses.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are not here to always give excuses but it’s a tough league. There are some good games and tough games. In the last games we played, we faced tough opponents. Even if you don’t drop the points as we dropped in the last games, nothing changes – it’s a final [on Sunday].<\/p>\n

Vision FC sits in third place in the Top Four mini-league with two points, two points behind leaders Etoile, and one point behind and ahead of the second and fourth teams Amagaju and Gicumbi FC, respectively.<\/p>\n
