Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Striker Yannick Bizimana believes APR FC still has a chance of winning the league title despite trailing league leaders Kiyovu SC by three points in the title race.<\/p>\n

Bizimana was on target as the army side beat relegated Espoir FC 2-1 on Sunday, May 7, at Bugesera Stadium, to keep pressure on Kiyovu whose victory over Musanze put them in pole position to win their first league title in 30 years.<\/p>\n

With just two matches remaining down the road, the former Rayon Sports forward said his side will hang on in the title race until the last minute.<\/p>\n

“Looking mathematically, retaining the league title is still possible for us. We are firmly focused on the remaining two matches to see what happens,\u201d Bizimana said.<\/p>\n

We still have a chance and we must fight until the end.”<\/p>\n

To keep their chances alive, Ben Moussa\u2019s men will have to win their two remaining matches and pray that SC Kiyovu somehow drop points.<\/p>\n

“We have every opportunity to retain the title for a third consecutive time, and we need to win and see what will happen to Kiyovu,” he added.<\/p>\n

APR FC will face Rwamagana City before ending the league campaign against a Gorilla FC side which stunned Rayon Sports 3-1 to dent their title hopes on Sunday at Kigali Pele Stadium.<\/p>\n
