Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Thousands of basketball fans are eagerly awaiting the Basketball Africa League (BAL) playoffs that kick off Saturday, May 20.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the opening game between home side REG BBC and Egyptian giants Al Ahly have been sold out but the tournament will run for a week and there will surely be plenty of opportunities to follow action live at the BK Arena, even if you may have missed out on an opening day ticket.<\/p>\n

But how are the tickets priced, where can you buy your ticket and what does each ticket come with?<\/p>\n

All tickets can be bought via TiCQet with the most affordable option priced at Rwf1,250. This particular ticket gives you access to the Upper Bowl seats and the fan zone just outside of the building that will be teeming with revelers, entertainment, including DJ live sessions and performances from different local artistes.<\/p>\n

Tickets for the Lower Bowl seats go for Rwf12,750 each, while a ticket for a third-row courtside seat will see you part with Rwf41,250. First and second-row seats are reserved for VVIPs and VIPs.<\/p>\n

All the tickets will give access to the fan zone inside the BK Arena compound.<\/p>\n

It is also understood that the organisers might decide to give promotional ticket offers in the course of the one-week tournament. A source insisted that there will be no gate ticket sales.<\/p>\n

On some days doors will be open as early as 2p.m local time.<\/p>\n

The tournament, in its third edition, has drawn eight clubs from across Africa which will be contesting for the championship.<\/p>\n

The playoffs show will run through Saturday, May 27.<\/p>\n

Up to 240 TV channels, including Rwanda public broadcaster RBA and KC2, are expected to broadcast the tournament.<\/p>\n

Tunisian side US Monastir won the second BAL edition in Kigali in May last year but will not be defending their title after they were eliminated in the Sahara Conference in March.<\/p>\n
