Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The women\u2019s national basketball team has started preparing for the women\u2019s Afrobasket tournament.<\/p>\n

The tournament will take place in Kigali from July 28 to August 6 and will attract 12 African countries.<\/p>\n

The national team\u2019s training sessions are at BK Arena, and are attended by a number of local and foreign-based players.<\/p>\n

A number of players have turned up except for US-based Bella Murekatete who is expected to join camp later.<\/p>\n

Rwanda was drawn in Group A alongside Angola and one more team that will qualify from Zone 2 and Zone 3 combined.<\/p>\n

Provisional squad:<\/p>\n

Hosendove Taylor Lynn, Hope Butera, Sifa Ineza, Celine De Roy, Marie Laurence Imanizabayo, Ange Nelly Irakoze, Sandra Kantore, Kiyobe Chantal Ramu, Rosine Micomyiza, Sandrine Mushikiwabo, Philoxy Destiney Promise, Tetero Odile, Charlotte Umugwaneza, Martine Umuhoza, Assouma Uwizeye, Jordan Odette Umuhoza, Soiffa Wibabara and Bella Murekatete.<\/p>\n
