Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>The management of APR has called on fans to show some patience to the club in the wake of their recent poor results.<\/p>\n The military side has had a slow start to the season, failing to record a win in their three recent games despite making major signings dominated by foreign players in what brought the club\u2019s decade long \u2018home grown players only\u2019 policy to an end.<\/p>\n Since new head coach Thierry Froger took charge in July, the military side managed just one win from the past four matches before losing 3-0 to bitter rivals Rayon Sports in the Super Cup and drawing twice including a goalless draw against Mukura in the preseason.<\/p>\n But Saturday\u2019s 1-1 draw with Somalian minnows Gaadiidka FC in the CAF Champions League preliminary round first leg in Kigali didn\u2019t go down well with the fans and some have started to ask the club\u2019s hierarchy to sack him before it is too late and bring their former Moroccan coach Adil Mohammed back to replace him.<\/p>\n It is not normal at APR to see fans booing their own coach like they did for Froger who has to respond quickly to get the team back and firing.<\/p>\n The club management admits that the team\u2019s recent form needs to improve but cautioned supporters to stay calm and give their coach time to build his dream team.<\/p>\n “The season has only just begun, offering ample opportunity for improvement.
