Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Bank of Kigali Academy, on Thursday, October 19, celebrated the graduation of 24 students of the second cohort of the Entry-Level Training Programme (ELTP).<\/p>\n The cohort of 24 was selected from best-performing university graduates from fields such as finance, accounting, business, and information technology, among others.<\/p>\n BK Academy\u2019s programme trains them, over three months, to become part of the bank\u2019s family and lead the bank\u2019s mission in the financial sector.<\/p>\n The graduation ceremony held at Serena Hotel showcased the students\u2019 acquired skills and their many talents that left the bank\u2019s officials amazed at the team.<\/p>\n \u201cThis is the highlight of my year 2023,\u201d said Diane Karusisi, the CEO of Bank of Kigali, while commending the staff members and trainers who ensured that the training came to fruition.<\/p>\n According to her, the initiative seeks to intentionally build the future of the bank by transmitting and equipping the next generation with knowledge and skills that serve not only the bank\u2019s vision but the country at large.<\/p>\n The cohort of 24 was selected from best-performing university graduates from fields such as finance, accounting, business, and information technology, among others.Craish Bahizi<\/p>\n \u201cThis is a big challenge handed back at me of keeping you inspired, growing, and dreaming because we have to make sure that we deserve you. Looking at you, I am positive we are going places,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n The ELTP 2nd cohort representative, Danny Rubayiza said that the team dubbed \u201cInganji\u201d wants to be the pillar that sustains the lender\u2019s position as the leading bank in the market.<\/p>\n \u201cOur encounters with brilliant entrepreneurs left lasting impressions, teaching us the importance of leadership and ownership in our personal and career development journey.\u201d<\/p>\n The team pledged to put into practice the skills they gained with a customer-centred approach across different fields of delivering quality service.<\/p>\n Every year, BK Academy\u2019s entry-level training programme will train new graduates before joining the bank\u2019s larger team.<\/p>\n Besides the entry-level programme, BK Academy also trained and graduated some of its employees in managerial positions for improvement and advancement of their professional capacity.<\/p>\n The team consisting of employees from different departments were trained in leadership and managerial skills, among many others.
