Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Rayon Sports have been handed a huge boost as star forward Joackiam Ojera is declared fit for Sunday\u2019s Primus National League derby with bitter rivals APR at Kigali Pele Stadium.<\/p>\n

The Ugandan forward has been on the sidelines through an injury he sustained during Blues\u2019 2-1 victory over Etoile de l’Est on October 11.<\/p>\n

He missed the team\u2019s trip to Ubworoherane Stadium on October 15 and his absence was hugely felt as the Blues fell to a shock 1-0 defeat to Musanze FC.<\/p>\n

Ojera resumed training last week and he was believed to return to action during club\u2019s 3-0 win over Sunrise on Saturday, October 21 at Kigali Pele Stadium. However, the coach didn\u2019t want risk him as he saw no reason to rush him back from the injury.<\/p>\n

According to Rayon Sports Communications Manager Roben Ngabo, Ojera joined the rest of the team in full training on Monday and is fit and ready to play the derby.<\/p>\n

\u201cOjera has been training alone recently and the club says he is now fully-fit. He started training with the rest of the team,\u201d Ngabo told Times Sport.<\/p>\n

Rayon Sports are unbeaten in the last three matches against APR and Ojera\u2019s return could boost the Blues\u2019 hopes of making it four wins in a row against the army side which remains unbeaten in their last seven league matches.<\/p>\n

The club will, however, be without centre back Aimable Nsabimana who is out through a toe injury while Youssef Rharb will miss the game due to indiscipline.<\/p>\n
