Africa-Press – Rwanda. <\/strong><\/span>Rwanda national team striker Meddie Kagere has officially joined Tanzania’s Namungo FC on a six-month loan deal.<\/p>\n

Kagere made the move from Singida Fountain Gate FC due to limited playing time since the start of the 2023\/24 Tanzania Premier League season.<\/p>\n

Namungo FC expressed their excitement about the new signing. They welcomed Kagere, also known as the ‘Bull Striker’, who has already made a name for himself in the Tanzanian league.<\/p>\n

\u201cWa are happy to introduce you ‘Bull Striker’ Meddie Kagere as a new member of our Namungo FC team,\u201d the club shared the news on their social media platforms.<\/p>\n

At 37 years old, Kagere brings experience to Namungo FC. He previously played for Simba SC before joining Singida.<\/p>\n

In the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, he was the top scorer in the Tanzanian League, scoring 23 and 22 goals respectively.<\/p>\n

Kagere leaves Singida in the fifth place on the league table after 14 games, while Namungo FC is currently in eighth place with 17 points.<\/p>\n
